Welcome to the 2024 Spring/Summer Player & Volunteer Registration with the Edina Soccer Association!

This is our 50th year offering soccer programs in our community!  Look for many "extra" events celebrating this milestone all season long!

We are excited to offer you our 2024 Spring/Summer league options.

Spring/Summer season runs May 13 - July 18.  Open to Grades Pre K (starting K in Fall 2024) through 12th Grade.     Cost is $140.00 (on time) or $170.00 (late registration starting March 16th).  

Additional Add-on Options:

Youth Spring/Summer Academy: (optional add-on for 1st through 4th Grades).

• Accelerated skills training offered to Grades 1st-4th
• Saturdays from 9-12noon (each grade level will be split into 1 hour sessions starting with the youngest athletes)
• Location:  Pamela North
• Cost:  $75 for 5 weeks (begins May 18th)
• Trainers:  Jonathan Schaeffer, ESA's Technical Director and current collegiate and high school varsity instructors

June Summer Skills Camp:  June 3-7th (first week of summer break) 

• All Grades are invited
• 9am - 12noon
• Location:  Pamela West
• Cost:  $170.00 ($35 off the non-ESA price)

This registration will allow you to provide contact information, sign consents and submit payment.  Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.  To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover or checking account information available.  Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from Edina Soccer Assn.

Sessions are scheduled between 5:00 - 8:30 PM throughout the season.  Your team's start time will rotate event by event.  Your night of the week play will remain the same except if you have a holiday reschedule (i.e. Memorial Day games are moved to Friday night).

Grades 9-12:

Once final numbers are confirmed, we will evaluate the structure of 9-12 grade rosters and game format to ensure fairness and equal competitive strength.  We always strive to make the league a fun, friendly competitive experience promoting good sportsmanship.  

Note: You should register your child based on their current grade for the 2023-2024 school year.  PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOU ARE LISTING YOUR CHILD'S NAME ON THE PLAYER REGISTRATION SECTION VERSUS A PARENT NAME.  

Note: You should register your child for the Pre-Kindergarten age group only if they will be entering Kindergarten in August 2024 for the 2024-2025 school year.

Note: The Edina Soccer Association reserves the right to combine age groups in the event that we do not have enough registrants in an age group to form a league.

Note: Price shown is ESA base price and does not include fees associated with processing credit card transactions. Additionally, the same processing charges will be added to late fee and apparel charges.

Spring/Summer season is scheduled to begin May 13 and continues through mid July (Pre K/K through Second Grade) and late July for the older grades.  

Late Registrations:

• Registrations received after March 15th, 2024 will be considered late.  A $30 late fee will be charged per player.  Age divisions will be closed out if full and a waitlist will begin.
• LATE FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE
• LATE REGISTRANTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED PLACEMENT ON TEAMS OR SPECIAL REQUESTS
• All Players must be registered online by March 29, 2024.  Registrations will not be accepted after this date - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Refund Policy:
Requests for refunds must be made in writing or via e-mail and received before the first game.  All approved refunds will be assessed a $10 processing fee.  If a uniform has been ordered, the refund will be half the total registration fee.  Team Placement is a function of Age Group Directors; the Age Group Directors must approve roster changes.

Scholarship Requests:
ESA provides families with financial assistance to allow all children in the community an opportunity to play soccer. Applications are evaluated confidentially and approvals based on need and frequency of requested assistance.
